What this site is
AnimeTrip Japan is a trip-planning site for overseas anime, manga and game fans visiting Japan. Everything is organised around the series you already love. Pick a franchise and you get the real places connected to it, the events running while you are here, a route that connects them in a sensible order, and where to buy the merchandise that never leaves Japan.
Why it exists
Pilgrimage sites cover locations. Booking sites cover tours. Shopping sites cover products. Blogs cover articles. They are all separate. This site binds them together along one axis — the franchise — so that someone who loves Pokémon can go from stores to events to a walking route to Japan-exclusive merchandise to a booking without leaving the site.
How we handle information
Opening hours, prices and event dates change. Every detail page carries a last-checked date and a link to the official source, and asks you to verify before you cross the city. When we find an error we correct it. Where we do not know something, we leave it out rather than guess.
How the site is paid for
All guides, spot information, event listings and routes are free. We earn a commission when you book tours, hotels or eSIMs through partner links, which never changes the price you pay. Partners are chosen on whether they are actually useful for this trip, not on commission rate.
