BEYBLADE X

Japan gets the releases first, and roughly half the price.

BEYBLADE X products from Takara Tomy are released in Japan first, usually several months before the overseas Hasbro versions, and the Japanese retail price is typically far below the overseas price. Large toy floors such as Yodobashi Camera Akiba and Hakuhinkan Toy Park in Ginza carry the full current lineup, and several stores run free stadium play areas where you can battle other players.

Yes. Most local rounds at partner toy stores are free walk-in events open to anyone with a legal bey, organised into age brackets. Rules are demonstrated visually, so no Japanese is required. Hakuhinkan Toy Park in Ginza also has an in-store stadium where you can play any time the store is open.
