Dragon Ball

The franchise that built anime's overseas audience. Merchandise is everywhere; a venue is not.

Dragon Ball is the series that opened the overseas market for Japanese animation, and its merchandise presence in Japan reflects forty years of continuous production — particularly figures, where the range is far deeper than anything exported. There is no permanent Dragon Ball venue, so the realistic plan is Jump Shop for official designs plus the second-hand and new figure floors in Akihabara, Nakano Broadway and Den Den Town, where discontinued lines surface at reasonable prices.
