A permanent ninja attraction on Awaji Island, not a pop-up.

Most anime attractions in Japan are temporary. Shinobi-Zato is not: it is a permanent NARUTO area inside Nijigen no Mori, an anime park in a prefectural forest park on Awaji Island. It includes a three-storey maze attraction built behind a recreated Hokage Rock, ninja training sequences, themed food and a shop with goods sold nowhere else. Awaji Island is reachable by highway bus from Kobe or Osaka, which makes it a realistic day trip from Kansai rather than a special expedition.
