Sazae-san
The longest-running animated series in the world, and its museum is in the suburb it is set in.
Sazae-san has aired continuously since 1969 and holds the record as the longest-running animated television series in the world. Machiko Hasegawa, who created it, lived in **Sakurashinmachi** in Setagaya, and the family is set in the same neighbourhood. The **Hasegawa Machiko Art Museum** is a five-minute walk from the station, with a memorial hall opposite it opened in 2020, and the 500-metre street between them is officially named **Sazae-san Street** and carries bronze statues of the family. It is 15 minutes from Shibuya.
