Sound! Euphonium
Uji, drawn so precisely that you navigate the town by the show.
Sound! Euphonium is set in **Uji**, the tea town south of Kyoto, and Kyoto Animation drew it with the precision the studio is known for — the real locations line up almost exactly with the frames. **Uji Bridge** is on the key visual, **Keihan Uji Station** opens the series, and the **Daikichiyama observation deck**, a 20-minute climb behind Uji-gami Shrine, is where the two leads climb with their instruments. The observatory is free and open at any hour. Uji is 20 minutes from Kyoto Station and is worth visiting for the tea and the temples regardless.
