The museum holds Fujiko F Fujio's original artwork across Doraemon and his other series, a recreation of his studio, and an outdoor area with the characters at full size. Entry is by date-and-time specific ticket sold in advance through Lawson; there are no tickets at the entrance.
Why it is worth it
Doraemon is a household name across Asia, and this is where the original artwork is.
When to go
Every slot is capacity controlled, so it never feels crowded inside. The difficulty is buying the ticket.
Good to know
Buy as early as your dates allow. Closed Tuesdays. About 30 minutes from Shinjuku to Noborito, then a shuttle bus from the station.
