A small arched footbridge over the Suimon River in Shikinohiroba, a landscaped stretch of riverside walkway. The carp are real and still there. This is the image used on the film's poster and key visual, and it is the single most recognisable location in the work.
Why it is worth it
The film reproduces Ogaki so precisely that the city publishes an official location guide. Standing on this bridge is the moment that makes the trip worth it.

Walk here from Ogaki Station along the Suimon River rather than taking a taxi — the route passes several other locations from the film, and the city guide maps it. Buy carp feed nearby if you want the shot from the film.
