Individual shops each display their own character. Walking the streets and finding them is the point, not any single location.
Shops throughout the town centre display life-size panels, each shop associated with a particular character, and many have their own goods and menu tie-ins. The arrangement has been maintained for over a decade and is run by the shopkeepers themselves rather than as a campaign.
Why it is worth it
This is the part that cannot be reproduced anywhere else. The town did not host the series; it absorbed it.
When to go
Weekends and event days are busy.
Good to know
These are ordinary shops run by ordinary people. Buy something where you photograph the panel — that exchange is what has kept the arrangement alive for this long.
