Toei Kyoto Studio Park
A working film lot for period dramas that visitors can walk through, with anime attractions on site.
Toei has filmed period dramas here since 1975 and the Edo-era streets are the real sets. Alongside the historical attractions the park runs anime-tied exhibitions and attractions, which rotate, so check what is running for your dates.
Why it is worth it
You can walk onto a real film set, which no purpose-built theme park can offer.
