Chiikawa Land Tokyo Station
A permanent Chiikawa store inside Tokyo Station, and often the busiest shop on the corridor.
Chiikawa Land is a permanent store rather than a pop-up, located inside Tokyo Character Street in the basement of Tokyo Station. It carries the full merchandise line plus Tokyo Station limited designs, and entry is sometimes managed by numbered ticket when new products launch.
Why it is worth it
Chiikawa merchandise barely reaches overseas retail, and this store is inside the station you are passing through anyway.
When to go
Busiest 17:00–19:00 with commuters and on new product launch days. Mornings are easy.
Good to know
It sits outside the ticket gates, so you can walk in with luggage without a train ticket. Good for your last morning in Japan.
