Sanrio Puroland
A fully indoor theme park — Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi and My Melody, rain or shine.
Puroland is built entirely indoors, which makes it dependable in rain and in summer heat. It is organised around live shows, parades and character greetings rather than rides, and the merchandise floor carries park-exclusive designs.
Why it is worth it
The only indoor theme park on this site — the reliable choice when the weather ruins the rest of your plan.
When to go
Weekends and Japanese school holidays are busiest. Shows have separate seating queues.
Good to know
Ticket prices change by date, and advance purchase is cheaper. About 40 minutes from Shinjuku via Keio or Odakyu.
