Museum
Attack on Titan in HITA Museum
Original signed artwork, rejected statue designs, and objects made only for this museum.
The museum sits in Oyama, the part of Hita where the author grew up. It holds original signed artwork, the rejected design proposals for the bronze statues at the dam, and large-scale objects produced only for this site.
Why it is worth it
This is the author's hometown, and the exhibits are things that exist nowhere else.
When to go
Rarely crowded. The constraint is transport, not queues.
Good to know
Combine with the dam statues below it — they are the reason most people come. Public transport is limited, so a car or the local shuttle taxi tour is the practical option.
