Yanagimori Shrine
The small shrine below the road on the Kanda River, six minutes from the station and completely unlike the rest of Akihabara.
A small shrine tucked below street level along the Kanda River, reached down a short flight of steps. It appears in the series and it is startlingly quiet given that it is six minutes from the busiest electronics district in the world. It is also known locally for a shrine to tanuki within the grounds.
Why it is worth it
It is the counterweight to Radio Kaikan: nothing here has been rebuilt, and it looks exactly as it does in the work.
When to go
Almost always empty.
Good to know
It is an active local shrine on a busy road. Bow at the torii, keep it brief and quiet, and do not treat the grounds as a photo studio.
